Chess with Lasers! Taking chess to another level.

Deflection is a turn-based strategy board game inspired by the classic Laser Chess games and the famous board game Khet. Although it may look like a puzzle game, it is however a player-versus-player mind-bending game, just like chess, where the main goal of a match is to destroy enemy pieces and the rival King by bouncing your laser off mirrors, going through portals and activating other pieces.

With a variety of pieces each having different advantages, abilities, and weaknesses, use the one move you are allowed per turn to strategically bring yourself closer to victory. At the end of every turn, you must shoot your laser... be careful not to hit one of your own pieces!

Some pieces can even be controlled by both players, which adds another layer of fun and strategy.

Take advantage of pieces with abilities like:

• The Disruptor, which, when activated by the laser, will disable and weaken nearby pieces, rendering them useless.

• The Tesla Tower can eliminate a random nearby piece with an electric beam, regardless of its color.

• The Spike, which, when shot from any side, will shoot four lasers in all directions before destroying itself.

Theses are just a few examples, some pieces even block the laser!

Use Mirrors, Portals, Tesla Towers, Spikes etc. to defeat an AI or another player in Local/Couch Multiplayer or Online Multiplayer, in a dozen of pre-made maps or user-made ones.

Create Levels/Maps by placing cells and pieces in the Level Editor and play in your creations against friends or an AI.
